Homecoming 2008 - October 10th & 11th Highlights

Homecoming Reunions

Construction Management

The Construction Management Department is celebrating 70 years . . .
of preparing students to build homes, hospitals, churches, mission projects, . . . you name it and they have probably built it! Stop by the display in the Engineering Building and see pictures and models that make up the CM alumni portfolios.

Showcase 2009

In addition to finding out who is this year’s recipient of the Outstanding Alumnus Award, we will dust off the stories and pictures from the early years of JBU, hear about some little known facts from each of our presidents, spotlight those pivotal events that demonstrate God’s guiding hand, and take a lighthearted look at the traditions, clothes, music, and all-around culture of the last 90 years.

Theater Presentation

“The God Committee” By Mark St. Germain
Medicine, money and morality clash when the heart transplant selection committee of St. Patrick’s Hospital has only minutes to decide which of three patients will receive a heart that has suddenly come available. A cross between TWELVE ANGRY MEN and E.R., THE GOD COMMITTEE takes us into the inner workings of a transplant program and a decision, for both its candidates and its program, which is a matter of life and death. Mark St. Germain takes a step in another direction from his comedy writing for The Cosby Show to introduce us to the characters, plots and subplots of this thought-provoking drama.
