JBU Alumni Acceptable Use Policy

These policies are intended to protect the users of the JBUAlumni.com web site from irresponsible, abusive or illegal activities. We also hold the content of this site up to the same spiritual and moral standards that are a part of the JBU community as a whole. The JBU Lifestyle covenant is still in force on this web site.

Prohibited actions that may result in loss of access to the member site:

• Using profanity or obscenity for any content, including user names, e-mail addresses, and comments.
• Impersonating an alumnus by creating a member account in the name of some else or by using the log in name and password of someone else for fraudulent purposes.
• Using any of the information contained on the site, especially in the member directory for solicitation of any kind, commercial, non-profit, church, ... This information is only for your personal use to maintain contact and relationships with other alumni.
• Selling any of the information contained on the site, especially in the member directory.
• Using the information in the directory to send mass, unsolicited e-mail (SPAM).
• Harassing or threatening other members.
• Gambling.
• Anything that is illegal under local, state, national, or international law.
• Anything that infringes on someone else’s copyright.
